((Keep in mind that if you post a female character in this thread, they WILL be taken into Cataclysm as a slave. If you OOC, do not want to be part of that pack at all, do not post here. As a side note, this is open to all Cataclysm members and those wishing to have their gals brought in as slaves. This takes place after the recruitment thread.))
Darkness hung over the Harzen trails, cloaking the small militia he'd brought with him. Sky had decided to bring a few of the newer members out for a spin- see if they had what it took to keep the pack running. They were going to hunt for fresh meat- and by that, he meant females. While they were not equal to males within the pack, they were very much important to the survival of the pack. And with only his sister and Sicilia there and a growing amount of gentlemen within the pack.. Well. No one wanted to be fighting over the same little wenches, now did they. And so, it was time to take slaves. A wide grin came over his face at this point, licking his lips at the thought of new blood... New little treats to sink his teeth into.
His voice low, the male turned to his packmates, and in hushed tones began to speak, "This is as important to the survival of our pack as food, drink, or shelter. We might not consider these little flowers equal to us, but they do serve the purpose of keeping fresh blood flowing. Take any female you see- we're in no position to be picky. Drag her back if you need to. Or, if you need help, call to each other. Use your talents to the best of your abilities. You do not need to hunt alone. While none can match us, some can cause some injury. We don't have the resources or the healers to handle any mishaps- if you're severely injured, the most we'll be able to do is put you out of your misery. Whatever you do, try not to kill them or get yourself killed. Remember, we're taking prisoners... NOT murdering everything in our damned site. There will be a time to shed blood, this isn't it." There was a long pause as he allowed those words to sink in, "I'm assuming I'm being quite clear. So, be on your way. Report back home when you have... gathered what you feel is a sufficient amount of crop. Good luck, and happy hunting, Gentlemen." With that, Sky flicked his tail and wandered off, letting his pack decide what to do for themselves.
He would try and drop in on a few of them eventually, see how they handled themselves. No doubt a few of these girls would fight. He wanted to see how they would handle simple combat and situations in which the enemy couldn't be killed. Sky was smart enough to know that, on occasion, you needed to take prisoners. They could have valuable information and such. And, with what Sky planned to do once his numbers grew enough...
Wolves and other creatures that knew how to handle that as well as delivering a killing blow would be very well rewarded. A clash of thunder resounded overhead, rain starting to pour on his muzzle. Well, that would make things interesting. Male mused over the complications and advantages of this as a streak of lightning cracked the sky, outlining his figure. Hmm. It would make them harder to hear and scent, but the footing would be wet. It would also wash away the scent trails of different creatures that had come before.
Well, all the more of an assessment then. After all, things had seemed almost too easy before on that quiet, previously clear night...
