strengths: Themistocles has powerful wings on his shoulders. This gives him strength and stamina in flight. He is also a wonderful leader, a trustworthy friend, and a clever hunter. He is honest, gentle, wise, committed, noble, and just.
weaknesses:He is passionate and intense, if you count that as a weakness. He is also easily angered, which gives him a stormy aura. If you're able to gain his complete trust, Themist will count on you, and will be quite sensitive if you are ever unkind to him. Lastly, because of his massive figure, Themistocles is not very agile.
personality overview: Themistocles was born to be a leader. His noble, wise, and strong natured gives that away easily. However, like some of the better kings, Themist is gentle and kind, and loves to teach children. He wouldn't mind having children of his own, someday. This would be easier, of course, if he had a mate. Luckily, his knightly charms are already quite appealing, and his passionate side is released if he is in love. However, though he seems to be a stable man, Themist is not tolerant of other males that try to act superior, or that are abusive to their power or mates. He will snap easily, and it will take a gentle word to truly calm his rage. Themist believes strongly in the rankings of leaders, but only, of course, when they are suiting leaders. He wants to show the world how power is properly displayed, and searches for a clan to call his own. He also wants a family, but to him, this comes later. As a friend, Themistocles has a hearty sense of humor and a liking for competition. He is a good distance flyer, and uses this to his advantage; and though he is strong, his is not graceful. As a leader, Themist would hope to be respected, and to rule kindly. He wants only to be a better man than his father, and he doesn't realize that he already is.[/ul][/size][/blockquote]

history overview: Themistocles was born in the alpha nest, along with his two brothers, Hurricane and Gladius. His mother cared for them, but she never seemed fully attentive. She constantly felt weaker to them, and seemed more tired every day. Finally, when Themist and his brothers were grown, they learned why. They had learned how to fly and were leaving their nest to explore when they heard their parents voices. They struggled through the thickets and the trees and eventually landed on pine branch overlooking a cold meadow. Their father, Amos, was attacking their mother. By the looks of it, he had done this many times before, but not to this extent. Liliana, too weak to fight back, took in all in stride. That is, until he went for her throat, and her lifeless body fell to the earth. Hurricane immediately rushed to her side, nudging her and trying to get her up. Of course, she didn't notice. Amos, however, did. Gladius and Themist gasped, and were about to warn Hurricane of their father, but it was too late. Their warnings caught in their throats as their father swooped down and snapped his son's neck. He wanted no witnesses for this crime, and so he killed him. His father had only used Liliana to care for his son's, and then he wished to turn them into fighters. One death was a loss to him, but he saw it as only a price to pay for the warriors he wanted. Themistocles and his brother were silent, and they fled back to their nest. For the next season their father trained them to be stronger, and to be harsh leaders like him. The boys never took it all to heart. They knew what he was doing was wrong. So, at last, the day came when they plotted an ambush on the heartless king. It went well at first, until Gladius fell. He was severly wounded, and wouldn't survive. Themistocles, however, continued to fight. Having two against one had helped. His father was failing. Even though Themist managed to defeat him, he was left with cuts from Amos's talons. They all healed, leaving ghosts of scars across his body. One scar remained prominent, though. The one across his left eye. His vision in this eye is fine, but it will forever hold a dreaded memory for him. [/ul][/size][/blockquote]
