EYESHIMMER
It was a warm day, probably about fifty-five degrees. The pretty snow white, sand striped, pale seafoam green eyed tigress made her way on silent paws to the Narwhal Inlet. Shaking her large head she sat beside the water a moment, staring out into the blue waters. She watched as a pair of whales breached the surface and smiled to herself. She wondered about what had happened to both Caimen and Auralee, where they had been, what they’d done and if they would ever come back to their sister’s warm embrace. Her sand tipped tail twitched as her round auds flicked back and forth.
Across the inlet she saw the island and she smiled a little.
Hmmm…perhaps a short swim and then a day of relaxation. The tigress thought as she got back to her paws and waded into the inlet. The water was chilly but her fur helped to keep her slightly warmer. Soon she was across and stepping out onto the shore of the other side. The island was beautiful in her pale voids. And how many others would brave the inlet to come over here? Eyeshimmer doubted many would and with that she shook her sand-striped snow colored pelt out and then set about grooming her pelt, getting most of the water off of her. Then she lay in the sun to finish drying and warming up before she would stalk her next meal.
