Large paws carried the melanistic leopard through the lands he’d come across about a year and a half ago. His bright blue voids scanned over the lands and fell upon the forest before him. It was looking rather mysterious and dark seeming. Mavvery liked that idea. His pace quickened a little as he drew closer to the trees. He shook his large black head and paced into the forest and paused as his bright blue pools scanned again. He wasn’t ready for another meal as he had recently just had a Ptarmigan not too long ago and was still digesting that food.

But it wouldn’t be a horrible thing if he could simply rest in a tree. As he scanned his surroundings, Mavvery spotted a sturdy looking tree and decided to climb up and relax. Approaching the trunk, Mavvery stood on his hind paws and sprang up to the tree, his claws digging in so as to keep him from sliding back down the trunk. He made his way up the trunk and he found a sturdy branch to stretch out on. He paced out and then settled down, all four paws sprawled, two on each side of the branch and rested his head between his front legs.

Sure he was rather far from his home, but it was the nature of the melanistic leopard to wander far and wide. But always he would return home to Tosrada’s lands. For now though, he just wanted to relax and then by nightfall, he’d be on his way back home to continue his duties, making sure no one entered his Clan lands without the proper permission from his Alpha Akira. His bright blue voids started to get covered by the eyelids of the cat. But do not be fooled, he is not sleeping. Want proof, try and sneak up on him.

It was almost hot here compared to her home in the mountains and the humidity was stifling, but she needed to get out and explore. She was tired of staying up in the mountains, afraid of running into her family. It was time to say hello to the world. As she walked, Mutiara looked around, keeping a cautious eye out for unfriendlies. The last thing she needed was someone looking for a fight. She hadn't eaten in a few days and it was taking it's toll on her. As she scanned the forest, a Least Weasel shot out from the foliage. Without thinking, she swiped the weasel across the small space and killed it. Grabbing the weasel, she ate it right there, not bothering to take it up a tree. There weren't any other predators around that she could see. Licking her maw clean from her meal, Mutiara moved on until she saw a black shape up in a tree. How strange. she thought, unable to tell what the thing was. Hello? she called out, seeing if the thing was alive or not.
